Earth Friendly Cleaning Products

Vinegar Cleanser

Fill large (quart) spray bottle half full with distilled white vinegar. Fill the rest of the way with water. Add a squirt or two of dish soap or any liquid soap. (Important to do this in order.)

Can also add essential oils such as orange or lemon, or add a little orange citrus solvent.

Use the same as any other general cleaning spray such as Lysol or 409.

Dust to Dust™

Furniture Polish
(Clean House, Clean Planet, Karen Logan, 1997)

In a 16-oz spray bottle add:
2 tsp olive oil
20 drops of lemon oil (or 1-2 tsp lemon juice)
¼ cup of white distilled vinegar
Fill the rest of the bottle with water
Shake well.

If you use lemon juice, refrigerate or use immediately.

Spray on rag or furniture or floor dust mop.

Use the same as Endust.

Fill a plastic flip-top or stainless-steel shaker half full with baking soda. Add 15–20 drops of pure essential lemon or lime oil or equal amounts of each. Fill the shaker to the top with more baking soda. Put lid on the shaker and shake it.

Sprinkle EarthShaker™ lightly on counters, sink or tub, wipe with damp sponge and rinse well. Also shake generously over wet pots, pans, casserole dishes. Let sit for a few minutes or even overnight. Scrub and rinse well. Does not work well on aluminum pans.
